There are many activities to partake in and places to see, starting with the splendid Vieste.
Vieste
Vieste is one of the iconic localities of the Gargano. Perched high above the sea, it offers a beautiful and suggestive view of its white houses with windows adorned with flowers and fragrant spices. The town itself offers a historical centre full of life, made up of narrow alleys and clubs that, especially during the summer evenings, come alive with festivities. The village is of medieval origin and the residential buildings appear almost as a single suggestive building. In Vieste, you can find the famous beach of Pizzomunno, featuring a large rocky monolith that towers over the long sandy beach with golden sand.
The Sea Caves
Starting right from the port of Vieste it is possible to take an exciting excursion to visit the sea caves along the coast, which are numerous and captivating. On board of a boat you can also enter some of these sea caves and enjoy a pleasant swim. The best-known ones are the Smugglers, the Bell and the Siren caves.
